10 Tips to Increase Your Online Credibility

Credibility is all about perception and you want your customers to believe that you understand them and have the knowledge and experience to help fulfill their needs. The most important thing is too provide the service and in turn value is perceived. If your website is the first contact point then your business is completely based on the clients or customers perception. If that is the case then how can you make sure your website enhances your credibility?

1. Put right upfront information that is most important to your customers. Anticipate the customer or client needs and help them. Show them, don't just tell them.

2. Organize your information in a way that makes sense to your customers. Guide the customer and client through information gathering, decision making and hesitations. Do not push. If the customer and client is not ready invite them to come back.

3. Make it easy for the customer to find their way around. This is pretty self explanatory just it simple no one likes to get lost.

5. Avoid Jargon. Use plain language and make the site readable.

6. Eliminate spelling and grammatical errors. Proof read your content, double check, and get a second set of eyes to proof read the content.

7. Provide a variety of contact methods. Every customer and client feels comfortable communicating via different avenues. Use as many contact methods and vary the range from phone, email, Facebook, etc.

8. Make sure everything works.

9. Have a privacy policy.

10. Respond to inquiries promptly. Does not matter if it is small or large respond to everything and remember it is customer service.
